Hello everyone, I will be posting artwork in the next couple weeks that I have created. As my next birthday approaches and I will be 55, I wanted to have a sustainable hobby that will pay for itself. When you reach my age the things we consider important doesn't seem to be that important anymore and you look at your life to see if you have made an impact to those around you.

I have been an artist as far back as I can remember, by drawing on everything around me. Even before graduating from Greeneville High School I worked for my uncle installing appliances from Sears when I was 14 so I have worked from an early age. I had no extra time for music or art, so they suffered for years and I felt like I was missing from my life. I have been a teacher now for 16 years and I have 8 years left before I will retire. Doug Freeman a student and a friend that was born three days after I was encouraged me to take up my art again. I can never thank him enough for his encouragement and if it wasn't for him I would not have fallen back in love with my art. I hope my art moves the viewer as much as other artist move and touch my very being.

Watch for these different mediums of artwork that I will be posting and some of art will be for sale and some will not.
